Hanged Man, #12
Hanged Man
XII

A man hangs upside down - smiling. He draws his strength from the inner acceptance of his condition. He gets his strength by aspiring to his spiritual source. This is demonstrated by his legs and arms forming a cross and being attached to a living tree cross.

The Hanged Man is a simple symbol, which is incredibly powerful. Unless one accepts what is happening fully, one does not move forward. This is because until full acceptance is done, one will not make the decision necessary to move forward. Acceptance is the key, which is why I see this symbol as representing the Law of Acceptance.
